Answer:

Time taken by worker A to complete 1 work = 8 hours

Time taken by worker A to complete 1/8 work = 1 hour

Time taken by worker B to complete 1 work = 10 hours

Time taken by worker B to complete 1/10 work = 1 hour

Therefore total work to be done in 1 hour = 1/8 + 1/10

= 9/40

Therefore time taken by both of them to complete 1 work = 40/9 hours = 4.44 hours

Hope it helps you....

Answer:

4hr 4min

Step by step explanation:

Given:-

Time taken by worker A to complete work = 8 hr

Time taken by worker B to complete work = 10 hr

A's 1 hour work = 1/8

B's 1 hour work = 1/10

Therefore total work to be done by (A + B) in 1 hour = 1/8 + 1/10

= 9/40

Hence, time taken by both of them to complete the work = 40/9 hr = 4 hr 4min

hope it helps you
