Robert Owen was a textile entrepreneur from Welsh. He was a philanthropic social reformer who founded the Utopian socialism and the cooperative campaign. He is best known for his attempts to improve the working conditions of the workers of his factory. Owen found that the children of the working class were not able to get the formal education in lack of money thus he made efforts to provide his workers with education for their children.
