The workers employed for atleast 6 months are called as main workers.

  • There are two types of workers according to the total time of the working, provided by the worker.
  • This total time is compared with a reference period (ie. 1 year).
  • Similarly, a worker who had worked for 6 months or more, (with the reference period of 1 year) is known as the main worker.
  • Whereas, a worker who had work for less than 6 months is known as the marginal workers.
