early it was not as good as now as it was Congress no sorry this is joke but women wear insulted and they were given less salary than men for same work they have to do more hard work than men in some places but then also they were being paid less
Though , now as the directive principles are there women are paid same as men for the same work and BGP is continuously working to upgrade the condition of women working in places in rural areas . thank you
