A+B=10Hrs

in 1 hr=1/10th tank full

in 4 hr=4/10th tank full

=2/5th tank full

A took 9 hrs to fill3/5th tank

time to fill 1/5th tank =3 hrs

Thus ,time taken by A to fill the complete tank =3*5hrs

=15hrs

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, A can do it =X days

Bcan do it =Y days

L.C.M.=XY

A's capacity=XY/X=Y unit

B's capacity=XY/Y=X unit

B/Q, XY/(X+Y)=10.....(1)

and, (Y+X)*4+(13-4)Y=XY....(2)

from (1) and,(2), solving

Y=2X

So, (1)=> X.2X/(X+2X)=10

=>X=15
