  • Lal Bahadur Shastri was regarded as a person of excellent moral character and intelligence.   • Bhagat Singh was part in two notorious schemes against the British government in India that sparked the Indian independence movement. He participated in a plan to assassinate the Indian police officer in charge of Lala Lajpat Rai's fatal shooting in 1928.
