In ∆ ABD and ∆ ACD,

AB = AC.. ( given )

BD = CD.. ( given )

AD is the common side.

Hence, By SSS congruence test,

∆ ABD ≅ ∆ ACD

By c.p.c.t,

Angle ABD = Angle ACD,

But, Angle ADB + Angle ADC = 180° ( linear pair angles )

Thus, Angle ACD + Angle ACD = 180°

Angle ACD = 90°

Thus, Angle ABD = Angle ACD = 90°.

Hence, Proved.
