Answer:

The whole number is not closed under substraction

eg; 4 - 3 = 1. 40 - 15 = 25

3 - 4 = -1, 15 - 40 = -25

5 - 2 = 3. 16 - 9 = 7

2 - 5 = -3, 9 - 16 = -7

10 - 7 = 3

7 - 10 = -3

The whole number is not closed under division

eg; 4/2 = 2. 16/4 = 4

2/4 = 1/2. 4/16= 1/4

10/5 = 2. 48/8 = 6

5/10= 1/2. 8/48=1/6

121/11 = 11

11/121=1/11
