a) Substantial objects which are acidic in nature and have pH value 0 to 7 are known as acids.

b) Substantial objects which are product of a strong base and weak acid are alkalis. All alkalis are bases but all bases are not alkalis.

c) Substantial objects which are Basic in nature and have pH value 7 to 14 are know as Bases.
