The biggest terrorist attack occurred on September 11, 2001. It happened in the US at the World Trade Center where it's estimated 2,996 people lost their lives. The attacks were well coordinated by a terrorist group by the name AL-Qaeda. The group had a series of four well-strategized attacks against United States citizens.  The attack led to the destruction of property and infrastructures worth billions of dollars and injuries of many people.  Due to this heinous attack, the US lost its stock market wealth after the destruction of the World Trade Center. The attack was planned by hijacking four passenger airlines en route to California.
