Your answer is ---
According to given figure the data is right but the sequence of written this data is wrong. Suppose someone ask for time to you. You see the clock . Suppose the hour hand at 9 and minute hand at 12. So you say the time is 9 o clock you can't add 9 and 12 . In above figure we also not add the balance money .
Let take a example
Suppose you have 10Rs.
You spend Rs1 so we have 9 and after that you spend Rs 1 then the remain balance is 8 . If You add 9 and 8 then the answer will be 17 which is not possible .
So, in the given figure their is nothing to confuse . Only representation of data is wrong .

The short answer is there is nothing wrong with the numbers. The correct equation is:
total spent + current balance = 50
The riddle is a trick question because it involves adding up the values in the balance column, which do not have to sum to 50.
Suppose a person spends 50 in a series of four transactions s1, s2, s3, s4. The corresponding balances would be:
Spend Balance
s1 50 – s1
s2 50 – s1 – s2
s3 50 – s1 – s2 – s3
s4 50 – s1 – s2 – s3 – s4
Sum of spending Sum of balances
s1 + s2 + s3 + s4 200 – 4s1 – 3s2 – 2s3 – s4
Notice the sum of the balance column is:
200 – 4s1 – 3s2 – 2s3 – s4
There is no reason this sum has to be 50. In the original problem with s1 = 20, s1 = 15, s1 = 9, and s1 = 6, it just works out the sum of the balance column is 51.
You might think it’s easy, but you’d be amazed how this problem confuses many people! I challenge you to ask 10 people and see how many actually figure it out!
