septum is the separation between two chamber or say, compartments. this is found in several places in organisms. such as they are found in fungi, in which the septum or septa devices two compartments of cell containing nuclei. if the septa are not present it will be considered as syncial i. e. having more than one nucleus in one cell. septa is also found in scrotum carrying testis, also known as septum scortii which devides the two testis in the scrotum internally.
