Answer:

A

Explanation:

Use Kirchhoff's law -->

1.  2i1+6i1-6i2+8i1+0.5i1-15=0 (set equal to 0 after adding)

--> result of i1-i2=15 so 16.5i1-6i2=15

2. Use the law to solve the second half of the circuit-->

7i2+i2+10i2+6i2-6i1=0 (set equal to 0 again)

--> result of i1-i2=0 so 24i2-6i1=0

-->simplify it further and you get 4i2-i1=0 so i1=4i2

3. Finally, combine the two solutions in this way:

16.5 x 4i2-6i2=15 which ultimately gives i2=1/4 A

--> substitute i2 value into the equation i1=4i2 to give i1=4x1/4

Therefore i1= 1A
