Solution :

a) if 360 packs of chips are prepared in 40 minutes.

convert 40 min to hours

40/60 = ⅔ hour

360 x 4 = x x ⅔

x = 360 x 4 x 3/2

x = 360 x 2 x 3

x = 360 x 6

x = 2160

=> 2160 packs of chips in 4 hours

b) 360 = ⅔hour

1200 = x

cross multiple

360 x x = 1200 x ⅔

360 x x = 400 x 2

360 x x = 800

x = 800/360

x = 2.22 hrs

=> 2.22 hour time taken to prepare 1200 packs of chips.
