Would civilization be better off if the internet had never been created?

According to my opinion never because if internet can't be created there will be no communication and we should suffer very uncomfortably.Internet made our life easy this days .

No, civilizations wouldn't have been better if the internet had not been created. Points for the justification-

1. A civilization is what are the beliefs and ideas of the people. There are always flaws in one civilization that the other civilization does dilgently. If Internet wouldn't have been created there are chances people would have not been able to communicate so frequently, which would result in slow evolution of the civilizations.
2. People would not have been able to easily adopt cuisines of other civilizations, the process would have lagged somehow.
3. Civilizations would not have been able to set up a compassionate bond among them, due to the high time consuming process.
