Sulphuric acid -> H₂SO₄
Magnesium(Mg) being more reactive than hydrogen , can displace Hydrogen from its solution.
Mg + H₂SO₄ --> MgSO₄ +H₂
Therefore,
Magnesium CAN REACT with dil. H₂SO₄
