The story "Great Expectations" is a
story of the Orphan boy Pip,who lives with his elder sister and Brother in law.
This story presents Pip in a very different light and does not stereotyped him as a poor and lonely child who begs on roads instead of presents Pip as a career consiois not
who studies and takes up apprenticeship and knows how to move in upper class society. He works and makes a living but he is unlucky in love.
