• The story set for mid 17th century when life was so simple.  
• Tom was a simple boy who falls in love with his neighbor Sophia Western.
• His birth was not as simple as his character though.
• He has to overcome many obstacles in life.
• In the end of the story he finally knew about who his parents are and got married to his love.
