Undoubtedly. Museums are great places to witness the relics of an ancient past- the past of humankind. History is a great teacher, all that is needed is to listen.
Museums around the world have rich collections of objects that bear testimony to the eras bygone. A mere walk through a museum teaches one so many things, what to say of a year spent in the museum! You get to know about the ancient arts, the wars fought, the greatest mistakes, and the biggest victories. As they say, we should learn from others' mistakes and experiences.
You would definitely end up being a transformed, inspired individual.

The museum is not a machine which will automatically make the other person intelligent, in the museum, there are limited things available and without gathering the knowledge about them it is no good, one should try to gather knowledge about each and everything available there.
In museums there are limited things available and its like reading a specific book, you cannot become intelligent by reading one book, with the help of the museum only historic things will be learned and that is not enough to become intelligent.
The museums can play the part in providing knowledge to people but it cannot be the only source for intelligence, sometimes people who are reading every book possibly cannot become intelligent because it is not about with which medium you are trying to become intelligent it is about how you are interpreting the information and how you are connecting things with each and other.
