Yes, I would call Swami a hero because

In fear,he attacks the ‘devil’ by biting it. The devil turns out to be a burglar. Then all his parents and neighbours xamewand caught the thief. Swami is seen to be a hero for catching the thief.

No, I would not like to call sei a hero because whatever he had done that due to his extreme fear . If he would have know about the burglar, he might not have been done anything . He just want to protect him from the ghost , but he became famous .
