Though Good Angels, try to deviate him from doing wrong, his ears cannot hear the voice of the one above. The character of Dr Faustus is not heroic but he is considered a Tragic Hero. Why he is called a tragic hero is because he uses all his powers to destroy himself and makes his own life miserable..................

Dr. Faustus was the protagonist of the great tragedy by Christopher Marlowe's . His character was a heroic character as he wants to be the master of his own fate . He stands against his fate or the gods to demonstrate his power of free will .
