Safe in terms of?
You can categorize the word 'Safe' in different parts. So If you mean:
→Safe in terms of theft: This depends on what type of area you're talking about. Theft is more in areas which are less inhabitant and are lonely. So like areas near Kanpur and areas with no or less security are more prone to theft
→Safe in terms of women: This is THE most concerning issue for India which is because Delhi being the capital of India has the highest stat for increasing Rape cases. Overall India is still fighting for women and isn't yet the safest place for women.
→Safe in terms of resources: Again depends on the area you're talking about. There are places with lack of clean water and are food insecure. So yes, Overall India isn't safest for the resources.
Based on the above discussion, we can say that the 'Safe' place is dependent upon the area being talked upon. Overall, What I feel is India is safe but not the safest.
Hope you get my point.
