first ionization enthalpies of two isotopes of the same element to be the same . due to the same nuclear charge does ionization enthalpy of the isotopes of the same element would be the same as the outermost electron in them is the same but only the atomic mass is different .

Answer: Ionization enthalpy of any atom relies on its number of protons and electrons. But, the isotopes of any element have equal number of electrons and protons. Thus, the 1st ionization enthalpy of two isotopes of a single element is same.
