No, He was just afraid and reminded of every horror story he had heard in his life and in his fear he thought the burglar to be ghost and bit on his ankle. And when his father, cook and servent see him that he was holding the burglar's ankle they thought that Swami had caught that burglar and without thinking anything they called Swami Hero. Swami was not actually hero he was just a coward and because of his cowardness he helped the police and became hero
