Answer:

probably would eventually. I was part of a DNA study through a university, studying if people know their genetic history, do they change their lifestyle to be healthier?

I got four different areas of genetics in emails. the first three were about various genetics that I have that can cause difficulties or health problems. I have a double recessive gene for colon cancer, which means I get scopes. a lot. but I have avoided cancer so far. So the first three, I found out about colon cancer, I don’t metabolize caffeine normally, etc.

The fourth email came unopened and we had to decide whether or not we wanted to look at it. It was the genetic possibility of Alzheimers or any other genetic dementias. I sat and looked at it on my page for about four days. Did I want to know? Or would I be happier not knowing? Anyway, I opened the email and I have no genetic predisposition to any kind of known dementia that is hereditary. whew.

But a long answer to a short question, yes I did open it.

Honestly? No. For the simple fact that our own futures are never meant to be known. Besides that, our futures are always evolving according to our actions so the date and time may change every year. Each choice we make in life affects the outcome of our satisfaction at life’s end. Since that may be the case, opening the envelope would be a pointless venture; the hows, whens, and whys of our deaths will always remain a mystery no matter how many times we open such an envelope. You are ultimately in control of your life. And anything you can do to stave off death and be satisfied with your life at the end is worth going after.

hope this will help you.
