No. For the simple fact that our own futures are never meant to be known. Besides that, our futures are always evolving according to our actions so the date and time may change every year. Each choice we make in life affects the outcome of our satisfaction at life’s end. Since that may be the case, opening the envelope would be a pointless venture; the hows, whens, and whys of our deaths will always remain a mystery no matter how many times we open such an envelope. You are ultimately in control of your life. And anything you can do to stave off death and be satisfied with your life at the end is worth going after.
