The village schoolmaster cannot be successful in the present day senario because the society and the people have changed so much now. There is the bombardment of information from all forms of media that the teacher's role is that of a facilitator.
Now a days the relation between the teachers and the students is very friendly. Though the respect between the two is still there there are also many familarities between the two.The children won't keep quiet after they get to know that the adult is giving them the wrong information.
