Let  x liters of 80% pure acidic solution and y liters of 60%pure acidic solution be mixed.Then , total volume of mixture

 = (x+y) liters

●according to question ,

x+y = 10    _ _ _ _  ( 1)

& 80% of x + 60% of y = 75% of 10

80/100 x + 60/100 y = 75/100 × 10

 80x + 60y = 750   _ _ _ _ _ (2)

●multiplying eq (1) by 60 , we get

 60x +60y = 600 _ _ _ _ _ _ (3)

●subtracting eq (3) from eq (2), we get

20x = 150

x = 150/20 = 7.5

●substituting this value of  x in eq _(1),we get

7.5 + y = 10

y = 10-7.5 = 2.5

●amount of 80% pure acidic solition = 7.5 liters

●amount of 60% pure acidic solution = 2.5 liters
