Frequency, wavelength and wave velocity are related as follow,

Wavelength is the distance travelled by the wave during the time a particle of the medium completes one vibration

Therefore λ be the wavelength and T be the time period, then the wave travels a distance λ in time T

Hence,

Wave velocity = \frac{VELOCITY}{TIME}

V = vλ

where,  

v = \frac{1}{T}

Wave velocity = Frequency × Wavelength

The wave velocity in a medium remains constant  under the same physical conditions.
