Answer:

In 2500 BCE, Harappa was one of the largest cities in the world, with 40,000 people living in it. The global population was about 50 million at that time. Now, Harappa is a small crossroad village of 15,000 people. The population of Pakistan is over 193 million. In the old times, Harappa also was one of the richest cities with the stories of its wealth reaching far. Today, Harappa has only a small railway station, and a lot of poverty. In the past Harappa was a leading centre for architecture, engineering and art. In the present, Harappa is largely an illiterate village.
