The main difference between hot desert and cold desert is that the hot desert is battered by the hot sun whereas cold desert has snow and ice on the ground . And hot desert are near the equator and cold desert in extreme northern and southern hemisphere. therefore temperature of hot desert is high and cold desert is low.
