1》 FILM :- Film is always about a chemical or digital process of recording, it is literally photographing 24 times (or more) in a second. Theater does not need to be recorded to be considered as such. Basically, one can say film is recorded theater in a very crude way.

2》 THEATER :- Film has a documentation character that theater does not have, since theater always needs people on stage to be executed while you can have films without people. Better put, film is a visual arts while theater is a performing art. That’s why theater has its roots in poetry and music while film could be perceived as the continuation of photography or painting.

Theater is live performance of a story hopefully before a live audience. Also called a play. Music and theatrical effects (visual and sound) can be added to add realism to the atmosphere and performance. The entire play is performed in continuous order. Often ‘acts’ separate time and places. Actors have each particular live performance to get it right.

Film also called movies is a recorded story of an edited series of performances (called takes) performed before a film crew for viewing by an audience usually in a theater at a later time. Music and special effects may be added during the editing process to enhance the viewing experience the complete story. During the course of creating the film, actors will have many opportunities to get it right for the assembly of the final product.Theater is live performance of a story hopefully before a live audience.
