Geographically, our country is located to the south of Asia continent.
India is a high population country and well protected from all directions naturally.
It is a famous country for its great cultural and traditional values all across the world.
It contains a mountain called Himalaya which is biggest in the world.
It is surrounded by the three big oceans from three directions such as in south with Indian Ocean, in east with Bay of Bengal and in west with Arabic sea.
India is a democratic country ranks second for its population.
The national language of India is Hindi
however almost fourteen nationally recognized languages are spoken here.
India:
1. India is a sovereign, secular and peninsular country located on the South of Asia.
2.No other coastline on the Indian Ocean is as long as India's, which justifies the naming of this ocean.
3.India has a rich heritage and culture.
4. Over 180 languages are spoken in India. There is no such linguistic differences in a single country as India's.
5.India is one of the countries where you can find a large number of assimilated people than the original inhabitants.
6.The Indian Constitution is the lengthiest one in the world, containing 444 articles in 22 parts, 12 schedules and 118 amendments, with 146,385 words in its English-language version.
7.The Taj Mahal in India is one of the Seven Wonders of The World. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage". It is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history.
8.India lies entirely in the Northern Hemisphere.The mainland extends between latitudes 8 degrees 4 minutes North and 37 degrees 6 minutes North and longitudes 68 degrees 7 minutes East and 97 degrees 25 minutes East.
9.The Tropic of Cancer (23 degrees 30 minutes North) divides the country into almost two equal parts.It extends ( in India) from the Rann of Kutchch in Gujarat to Mizoram .
10.India shares its land boundaries with Pakistan and Afghanistan in the North-West, China(Tibet), Nepal, and Bhutan in the North, and Myanmar and Bangladesh in the East.
