first we have to convert it in the form ax+by+c=0
=13x-12y-25=0
then to convert it to y=mx+c we have to take y to the lhs
=12y=-13y+25
then find out y
so,y=(-13/12)x+25/12
therefore, m= -13/12,and c=25/12
now in the equation y=(-13/12)x+25/12
consider the value of x as 1
if we solve the equation we will get the value of y as 1 so therefore x and y =1 h.p
=13x-12y-25=0

Your question is wrong. may be the equation would be 13x+12y=25 instead of 13x-12y=25.
If that's the case, then 12y = 25-13x
y=1/12(25-13x)
y=(-13/12)x + (25/12)
hence m = -13/12 and c=25/12.
now putting x=1, y=1 we get,
1 = (-13/12)+(25/12)
1 = 12/12
1 = 1.
Hence verified the given values of x=1 and y=1 are solution of equation of 13x+12y=25.
