a. Difference between cardiac Muscles and smooth muscles
➝ Cardiac Muscles :-
- They are found only in the wall of the heart.
- Striation are faintly seen.
- cell are cylindrical and branched.
- Intercalated doc's are present.
➝ Smooth muscles :-
- They are found in the wall of vicsceral organs like alimentary canal, uterus, ureters, etc.
- Striation are absent.
- Cells are spindle shaped.
- Intercalated discs are absent.

b. Difference between actin and myosin
➝ Actin :-
- It is the thin protein of a sarcomere or myofibril
- It forms the light band or isotropic band.
➝ Myosin :-
- It is the thick protein of a sarcomere/myofibril
- It forms the dark band or anisotropic band

c. Difference between Red Muscle fibres and white muscle fibres
➝ Red Muscle fibres :-
- They have large quantity of myoglobin that gives the red colour.
- They have a number of Mitochondria and blood capillaries.
- Sarcoplasmic reticulum is less.
- These muscle fibres are thinner.
➝ White muscle fibres :-
- They have very little amount of myoglobin hence are not red in colour.
- They have less number of Mitochondria and blood capillaries.
- Sarcoplasmic reticulum is more.
- These muscle fibres are thicker.

d. Difference between of pectoral girdles and pelvic girdles
➝ Pectoral girdles :-
- This helps in the attachment of forelimb bones.
- Each half is made of two bones, clavicle and scapula.
- The head of humerus articulates with glenoid cavity.
➝ Pelvic girdles :-
- This helps in the attachment of hind-limb bones.
- Each half is made of there bones , ilium, ischium and pubis fused together as one coxal bone.
- The head of femur articulate with acetabulum.

e. Difference between fibrous joints and Synovial joints.
➝ Fibrous joints :-
- These are fixed joints, i.e., there is no movement allowed
- Bones are joined together by white fibrous connective
- Examples :- Skull bones.
➝ Synovial joints :-
- These joints allow limited movements.
- Bones are joined with cartilage.
- Examples :- Shoulder joint, hip Joints.
