latitudes are the parallel lines...and they are just imagining lines..

Equator is the longest lattitude..

latitudes..not meet each other....

longitudes... are the vertical lines on the globe..

longitudes meet at the poles and deviet at the equator..

these longitudes are also knows as meridians..
