• The contrast between the narrators school and their schools shape their perspectives towards hijab is  the first school spoken about in the paragraph does not support the students wearing hijab and prohibits it during school hours and even discourages the students to wear hijab and creates discrimination against students.

• The second school in the extract supports students to wear hijab, promotes, encourages the students to wear hijab and respects their modesty and even encourages students amongst the school to respect and treat the kids wearing hijab equally as gender, race, culture and clothes do not change and take away one's rights.
