1.Loosening of powers of tribal chiefs.

Almost every tribal had a tribal chief.But under the British rule,the chiefs lost all powers and we're forced to follow the laws made by British officers in India.


2.Banning of shifting cultivation.

Britishers did not wanted shifting cultivations because it was difficult to control the movement of tribals.
