I live in jaipur city. It was founded on 18 November 1727 by Swai Jai Singh ||, the ruler of Amer. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It is popularly known as pink city due to the dominant color scheme of its buildings. It is largest city of Rajasthan. It is full of culture and heritage. There are a lot of forts and historical places to see in Jaipur. The regional language of Jaipur is Rajasthani. Jaipur is a popular tourist destination in India and forms a part of the west Golden Triangle tourist circuit along with Delhi and Agra. Jaipur is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Jantar Mantar and the Amer Fort. It has many traditional shops selling antiques, jewellery, handicrafts, gems, bangles, pottery, carpets, textiles, leather and metal products. Jaipur is one of India's largest manufacturers of hand-knotted rugs.
