24 = 2×2×2×3.      Amount he earns per hour = $8.40 Hours he works in a week = 26 hours Therefore, in one week, he earns = 26×8.40 = $218.40 No. of weeks he works in a year = 48 Therefore, in a year, he earns = 218.40×48 = $10483.20  As he is earning more than $10,000; he is paying taxes.
