Step-by-step explanation:

Streamline- Two streamlines never intersect each other and the tangent at any point on the streamline gives the direction of the velocity vector

Pathline- Pathlines are the locus of particles with identity.Pathlines can intersect each other and can make closed loops.

Answer:

The 3 difference between stream line and path line are:-

[i] Stream line is an imaginary curve in a flow field for a fixed instant of time, tangent to which gives the instantaneous velocity at that point whereas the path line refers to the path followed by a fluid particle over a period of time.

[ii] Two stream line can never intersect each other, as the instantaneous velocity vector at any given while two path line can intersect each other as or a single path line can form a loop as different.

[iii] In stream line point is unique whereas in path line particles or even same particle can arrive at the same point at different instants of time.
