Answer:

The inertia of rest: The property of a body by virtue of which it cannot change its position of rest, is called inertia of rest. example: a pen kept on the table, a ball in the rack, a car in the parking.

The inertia of direction: The inability of a body to change by itself its direction of motion is called Inertia of direction. example:  umbrella and rain,( drops falling from umbrella cannot change their direction), a cricket ball hit by a bat(ball can't change its direction by itself), a stone falling due to gravity cannot change its direction by itself.

The inertia of motion: property of a body by virtue of which it cannot change its state of motion, is called inertia of motion. example: when breaks are applied we move forward in the bus, we are at rest but the bus is in motion, A rotating fan continues to rotate for some time even after it is switched off, a person falls when he jumps from a moving bus.
