GROWTH IRREVELANT MOVEMENTS TROPIC MOVEMENTS :- This movement is also known as directional movements. The movement of a plant either toward stimulus or away from it is called directional or tropic movement. these responses are generally slow.> The types of tropic movements are:-1- phototropism2- gravitropism 3-hydrotropism 4- chemotropism5- thigmotropism. 
> NASTIC MOVEMENTS :-, In some plants, movement is neither towards Nor away from the stimulus such, movements are called Nastic Movements - for example = Touch Me Not plant leaves bends and troop when plant is touched and this is an example of Nastic Movement.
