Some day to day life activities where osmosis take place-

•Roots take in water from roots from ground through osmosis.

•Unicellular freshwater organisms gain water through osmosis.

•When we put dried raisins in water ,the raisins swells up as they gain water.

•When de-shelled egg is put in dilute hydrochloric acid , the egg swells as they gain water.
