Eco park is a major addition in the list of travel places in Kolkata. It has been built beautifully over a huge area with a natural water body. The park is well maintained and has various activities. It's open from 12 noon to 8 p.m. except Monday. You can start from gate number 4 with 7 wonders of the world, proceed towards gate number 2. On the way there are butterfly garden, rose garden, mask garden, rain forest. It may sound wonderful but there is nothing exciting in those theme gardens. You can do cycling, boating. For elderly people there are carts. Take some time to spend because it takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete roaming. Outside gate number 2 there is a subway to reach wax museum. It's at 6th floor. Go there with your kids, they will enjoy a lot. Overall a very good place for couples, go there, book a two seater cycle, roam around for a couple of hours. Children will enjoy it too because of 7 wonders and open gardens. If you go in summer try to avoid noon because the park is mostly open space. Try to go to the 7 wonders in the evening because it looks good under lights.
