Answer:

Dandi March – Mahatma Gandhi organized this Dandi March to break the British salt laws. The Dandi March was started in the year 1930 ie the day of Mahatma Gandhi under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. It was a time when the country was getting ready for independence. On one hand, young leaders like Bhagat Singh were stabbed in the nose of the British and on the other hand Mahatma Gandhi came out to break the salt laws of British through the non-violence movement.

On March 12, 1930, Mahatma Gandhi started the salt Satyagraha with the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad against the British decision to impose tax on salt. Under this, a 24-day long journey has been done to Dandi, a village on the seashore. By reaching here, thousands of people led by Gandhiji broke the salt law. It was a nonviolent movement and a post visit. Dandi travels are given great importance in the history of the country’s freedom
