Rational Numbers

If a number that can be expressed in the form of p/q is called rational numbers. Its should be in form of p÷q where q ≠0. It can be  terminated .

Example : 1/8 , 9/10 , 5/3, 4/7 , 6/7

Irrational Numbers

Its just opposite of Rational numbers. A number 's' is called irrational if it cannot be written in the form p/q, where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0.

It cannot  be  terminated .

Example:  \pi , 3.438835...    , 5.252283..  , 922.232345
