Animal cell- It has small or no vacuoles

                    It has no plastids

                     It has no cell wall

                     They are very flexible

                      They are not permanent.

Plant cell-It has large vacuoles

                 It has plastids

                 It has a cell wall

                  It is rigid and turgid

                   They can be permanent and meristematic.

Differences between plant and animal cells:

  • Plant cell always have cell wall while as animal cells do not have cell wall.
  • Plant cell does not contain centrioles while as centrioles are present in animal cells.
  • Plant cells do not have lysosomes(suicidal bags) ,while as lysosomes are present in animal cells.
  • Plant cells have a large centralised vacuole while as animal cell have few small scattered vacuoles.
  • In plant cells the golgi body is scattered while as in animal cells, golgi body is present near nucleus.
