यथैकेन न हस्तेन तालिका सम्प्रपद्यते ।

तथोद्यमपरित्यक्तं न फलं कर्मण: स्मृतम् । ( पंचतंत्र).

As with one hand one can not clap . Similarly without the hard work one can not get what one wants to . Only luck can do nothing .:

परिश्रमेण हि सिध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथै: ।pari shramen hi sidhyanti karyani na manorathei.

नानाश्रान्ताय श्रीरस्ति ।( Nanashrantaya shrirasti )

He who does not work hard does not have wealth .

न ऋते श्रान्ताय सख्याय देवा: ( na rite shrantaya sakhyaya devah )

God do not make friends with those who do not work hard .

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते ( karmanyevadhikarste ). Your Dharma is to work hard .

दुर्लभान्यपि कार्याणि सिध्यन्ति प्रोद्यमेन हि ( durlabhanyapi karyani sidhyanti prodhyamen hi ).

With hard work even difficult things get accomplished .

नास्त्युद्यमसमो बन्धु: कुर्वाणो नाव सीदति ।

There is no friend like hard work .A man going in for it does not come to grief .

उद्योगिनं पुरुष सिंहमुपैति लक्ष्मी ।

The goddess of wealth approaches the lion like man who is hard worker .

अनुद्योगेन तैलानि तिलेभ्यो नाप्तुमर्हति ।

One can never get oil from sesame seeds without exertion .

दुर्लभान्यपि कार्याणि सिध्यन्ति प्रोद्यमेन वै ।

Even the more difficult tasks are accomplished through hard work .

उद्यमो मित्रवत् ग्राह्य: ।
