The Taj is built on a raised platform. The outstanding spiral minarets enhance its beauty. The marble tombs of Shah J and Mumtaz Mahal are situated in the middle of the main building. They are inlaid with precious stones, on the walls of the building are carved verses from the Holy Koran.

Qutub Minar:It is a famous historical spot in Delhi.It is built with bricks and is the tallest minaret in the world.The Qutub Minar stands 237.8 feet.The construction was started in the year 1193 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak and Iltumish had built 3 additional floors and the last two floors were built by Firuz Shah Tughluq in the year 1368.
